Comfort, for you, can come from focusing on the here and now. Your attention is often on what someone else is doing. You might be trying to predict the future. Take care to give more airtime to what you DO want and can control, rather than mind-noise. You have heard of mindfulness but you struggle to put it into practice. Start with 15 minutes at the same time every day. For that 15 minutes, keep refocusing your attention on the task at hand, noticing all 5 of your senses, in the moment. For this 15 minutes, release self-judgment.
