Specialist training for compassionate professionals to understand and treat BFRBs

Mastering BFRB Recovery is a certified six-month online training course for BFRB coaches, counsellors, BFRB psychologists and wellbeing practitioners. Maybe you want to confidently support clients living with Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviours (BFRBs) such as hair pulling, skin picking, or nail biting. While the course is designed for helping people overcome BFRBs, You will find it equally valuable to help one specific client, deepen your understanding of these behaviours, or simply add a meaningful specialism to your practice.  There is a strong likelihood of us referring work to you, should you choose and be approved to work with us afterwards.

The course blends science, psychology, and (most importantly) compassion. Where possible we have kept to clear language and occasional suggested coaching questions and dialogue. Turning complex theory into bite-sized, practical tools for immediate use with a client, this specialist BFRB therapy training course for coaches will maintain your interest. You’ll explore Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for BFRBs, motivational question techniques, recovery language, relapse prevention techniques and the unique coaching approaches that make sustainable change possible.

Structure: Lessons are released approximately every four days to keep you moving at a steady, manageable pace. At key points, slightly longer pauses are built-in to allow time for reflection, integration, and practice. The full journey typically spans around six months, with ongoing access to materials and updates.

Investment: Currently offered at a low introductory price, this training provides exceptional value for professionals who wish to specialise in BFRB recovery. You’ll gain valuable templates and worksheets, and the confidence to guide others towards pick freedom. Your tutors never lose sight of safeguarding and will ethically, effectively, and with genuine understanding, lead you to lead others.
